NHC has finally called the blob TD 4

it will go through just east of the Bahamas whilst increasing wind up to 80 knots in 5 days.

Weird stuff!

Re: TD 4 to hit Bahamas

Bloody el! Here I am just about to head out for the first cruise of the season. Gonna have to keep a weather eye on this one as I poke around between the forks of Long Island for the next several weeks. Rode out the edge of Hurricane Earl at anchor in Three Mile Harbor several years ago. Would rather not do it again if this baby decides to come up the coast.
