Surveyor Recommendation - St. Petersburg

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good surveyor in or around St. Pete--near enough to avoid paying overnight travel costs? The two with whom I've spoken concerning previous boats are far enough away that their fee would include travel.

Edit: St. Petersburg, Florida. Not the former Leningrad.

We were in St Pete and used Rick Shelly. He surveyed 2 boat's for us. The first we passed on, the second we bought. We did the mandatory repairs for ins and then he resurveyed for us. Reasonable rates. If you want to know everything that's wrong with the boat then he is your guy. If you use him tell him Jim and Sherrin Scott says Hi. We have a Morgan 461.

I used Capt Wayne Canning out of Ft Myers when I bought my Sigma 41.
