hi, if you're still looking this is your man. Met him out cruising in the Caribbean and he's a top guy and a real sailor -- from dinghies to classic wooden boats to skippering big plastic ones. I've found surveyors who aren't also full blooded sailors just don't see the problems you need them to see.
Can't guarantee he travels to LI, but give him a shot.
