Survey

We are currently in Huatulco, will be headed to Chiapas in a couple of months after we get back from the States.
Having some issues with our current boat insurance and will probably need to get a current survey for a new policy.
Does anyone have a recommendation on how we can make this happen. The boat will have to be hauled in Chiapas for a bottom job and we would like to have the survey done at that time, if possible.

Any ideas would help.

Re: Survey

One thing that occurs to me is that your insurance company may have requirements for the surveyor, so I'd contact them first to find out if they will accept a Mexican survey.

If not, Kjell Christiansen, in San Diego, can be flown to you for a survey. Zeehag has written highly favorable reports of him here on CF.

Good luck with it.

Re: Survey

Thanks Ann

We have met Zeehag in Barra, when we get back to the boat I'll get ahold of her.
