I just bought a pack of black and white for $20 to try out, both for the boat and an outdoor low voltage electrical project. Should be interesting..

Right now they are also throwing in an extra pack of the multicolored stuff for free, so not a bad time to order, if you want to experiment with it.

Yeah I agree that a list of nautical applications in use by forum members would be great and would assist with identifying uses that one may not normally come up with.

I may be able to send you complementary packs if there are particular uses you want to try

Anyway, if this appeals, please share your experience! Hopefully talk soon!
I purchased some to try Sounds excellent for all sorts of small issues

Thinking about using it for a couple of particular projects including chain plate caulking and vibration reduction

There seems to be a slight problem with their delivery model. I get stuff sent to Singapore all the time but they have had 2 goes at sending. I have paid for it but not yet received.

Would appreciate a follow up if you work at Sugru

Re: SUGRU - A Miracle for Boaters

I PM'd projectguru who works there. I work for the Danish Sailing Association and said that if wanted me to test it, I would and I would publicize the results on our website, But I also told him I'm brutally honest so if I didn't like it I would also say that.

Never heard from him

Our books have gotten 5 star reviews on Amazon. Several readers have written "I never thought I would go on a circumnavigation, but when I read these books, I was right there in the cockpit with Vinni and Carsten"

Re: SUGRU - A Miracle for Boaters

This probably could've helped us when our boat sprung a leak mid-Pacific …
