Congrats on reaching your initial decision.
If you are going with a Sat Phone then I highly recommend you look into
UUplus. The cost of that
service more than pays for itself in sat minutes saved each month... We use it for
email, Wx products [including Fax], etc. once and often twice daily and stay under 400 mins/yr.
If you go that
route, I recommend you get it set up and become familiar with it while you have
internet access, then test with your sat phone. [UUplus works with any
internet connection...]
