Sometimes There's a Perfect Sunday

What a perfect sailing day. Sunshine, 26ºC, winds N-NW building up from 6 to 14 knots, lots of sailing boats and me at the helm for more than 4 hours!
I'm happy today.

You're a lucky man. Really weird weather here in S. Florida. Morning was shaping up to be a glorious hot S. Florida day (light winds), but then storms started at 2:30 PM and its been a steady drizzle all afternoon/evening. Feels like "June Gloom" in San Diego rather than late July in Miami.

Yeah, you're lucky. The weather on Lake Ontario has been terrible all summer. Came back across the lake today from Port Dalhousie (about 28 miles). OK for the first two hours then a continuous thunder storm until we got back to Toronto. Having been hit once before while sailing I can tell you it was not fun watching the lightning. I must admit it did feel good once I got back to my club and tied up.

For some reason it seems that in my country summer it's still summer and winter also feels like winter. We are missing autumn and spring though...

Cold noreaster has been blowing here in the Quebec City area since June. Not sailing as much as I need because of the bad weather. Big blow, cold and wet since summer started. Hope it changes. We did have a nice fall last year tho...sept and oct were just fabbulous.
Seems summer is no longer a season here just a long spring then a nice fall followed by winter which has maintained its normal feeling..... lots of snow and cold and windy.
