If you are talking about the 4 person dingy from WM, for $400, DO NOT buy it. It it is a total piece of ****. I had it in the water 4 times, and all 4 air tanks leaked, and it ended up waterlogged. Total waste of money. I ended up returning it.

Is this the one you are referring to?

SO-IB301 Solstice INFLATABLE 4 PERSON BOAT

IF so, I would probably pass on it. It looks like a PVC (like a pool toy) boat. You can get one at a discount store for much less the $385 but I would not recommend one as a dingy.

THANKS TO CHEESTEAK and s/v 'Faith' --- We really like the design and size. It would fit our needs very well. But the price being what it is, we figured as you stated, "a piece of sh--". (cheersteak) What a shame, I would think built properly it would be a BIG seller. So we shall keep looking. THANKS TO BOTH FOR YOUR REPLY. It was very helpful

Don't write it off just yet. We too are interested in it and recognize that it is not a real dinghy but we aren't planning on using it as a real dinghy, just something to get us a hundred yards to the beach. As far as "all 4 chambers leaked" that sounds like that specific dinghy had issues, not a design flaw.
