So...I Bought A Boat!!

After having sailed club boats and crewing with friends and for deliveries, and after having seached for at least 6 - 8 months, I've finally purchased my own boat! It's a one-owner Hunter 34 that is in great condition. I had the boat surveyed/sea trialed and it passed very well. (There is only about 400 hours on the Yanmar, and the rest of the boat also shows of very little wear). I sailed it from Port Townsend down to Seattle yesterday. Now I get to learn the in's and out's of maintenance and everything else the club took care of! I'm only planning on sailing around the Puget Sound and San Juans on fair weather days...

I don't chase women, drink rum, or sail because it makes logical economical sense.

Re: So...I Bought A Boat!!

haha I have a job where I race around 40-hours/week. I've been asked many times to crew for races and I have exactly zero interest. Sailing, for me, is about relaxing.
