Congrats to Skipmac who last weekend after 7.5 years moved his moved by both its' sails and engine!

It would have taken longer but some ahole Hunter owner kept ragging on him

Now the pressure is really on. If I have boat that works I will have to start finding excuses for why I'm not going anywhere in it.

I already have heard about your wife's' garden. I think if YOU have stay at home to work on HER garden, well ...............................

On the other hand you live in FL and your daughter and new grandchild are in Martha's Vineyard MA you should have a ready made cruise lined up.

That was/is the plan. Unfortunately it's gotten a little late in the year to start north. By the time I could leave and get there it would be time to turn around and head back.

New plan, Bahamas this winter, New England next summer.

Now, when was it you were going to show up in FL?

Now if I make it through hurricane season and the weather ever moderates enough that I can go outside without risking heat stroke and skin cancer, I might actually go sailing.

The plan is to be there sometime in Dec. Our house is under contact (took 3 days to sell) and the closing is scheduled for Sept 15, so we will be leaving here weather depending on Sept 16. I'll send out a marine warning first to make people aware to get out of way.

For real. Went out the St John's inlet couple weeks back for 6 hours. Drank 2 full gallons of water. Was brutal!!! but worth it to sail.

Cuba is on the list but after 7 1/2 years of blood, toil, tears and sweat I'm not getting close to Cuba until I know the gubimint has figured out the rules and won't try to confiscate my baby.

Wally Moran is the man behind both pages, and has just published a book on Cuba cruising..Ask him where to buy it if interested.

On a side note, I am about to move my boat to my home to continue my restoration, hopefully not as long or as much work as yours though. Congrats on getting her in the water!!
