About a month back we moved the boat to the southeastern side of Singapore to capitalize on the better sailing here during the southwest monsoon.

This weekend we beat west towards the city for about 75 minutes. We turned to come back in the afternoon and we pleasantly rewarded with a hauling butt beam reach leg. Made it back in 40 minutes.

With a following sea and the conditions I was almost too late in shorting sail. With the genny furled to about 100% we still saw almost 7 knots.

The dinghy's were out in force along the coast as were the windsurfers and a couple of kite boarders. Everyone was flying.

Makes a week worth of work fade into memory.
