I love that shot! I wish I could take credit for it, but crewmember Paul Carson is the one with the great eye. He took quite a few exceptional shots on that trip. Here are a couple more of his (no photoshop, these are the real thing):

Paul, great photos by crew-member Paul…. Wish I had someone along with that talent.

I think the most beautiful photos of our boats are the ones where the surroundings capture your eye and the boat is there to remind you of the wonderful gift, that she safely brought and sustained you there.

Then beauty really is in the eye of a beholder who knows he has a trusted companion in a personal craft who has shared his experiences, good or bad.

These photos are near the NE corner of Tablas Island in the Philippines, where we beach tied for a few days amongst coral canyons and subterranean lakes.

Quiet days of snorkeling, diving and exploring the grottoes along the coast. Total privacy, except for the odd deserted fisherman’s campsite

Ashore the rugged mountains had many naturally exposed seams of blue veined, white marble, tropical birds and wild mango, papaya to replenish our fruit supplies.

Truly beautiful and why I never begrudge looking after my nautical mistress!

Thanks to our friends on other boats for these two shots:
1) Early in leg 2 of the 2006 Baha Ha-Ha

2) Crossing the Gulf of Tehuantepec

You linked to a facebook picture rather than an actual jpg address. If your link does not end in a recognised grphic file format (e.g. bmp, jpg etc) then it will NOT work.

Here is my new pride and joy:

For real gluttons for punishment. There is a long video on the boat by the previous owners complete with all the great gizmos he has added to the boat.

At her dock in Windsor, Ontario.

Had to pipe in with a pic of a motor boat, can't let the sailors get all the glory...

As I have never had "Moondance" in the water, I am just a litle jealous of all the sailing pictures. Here is a picture of the old girl after 5 years of full time work. Should be sailinging next year, God willing.

Any chance of seeing some pics of the inside of her?..looks like there may be some very light and open spaces?

Some movie stars are just as pretty off-stage. Yours is.
