I'm thinking that boats got way too much teak
for a shoestring sailor. Plus the price
is about twice what a shoestring sailor might buy.
That boat is more for the $1500-$2000/month cruiser. Good lord the teak deck
is way too high maintenance
as is all the external teak
and oh lord it's got a wood mast
too. Thats $300-$400 a year for varnish
, sandpaper and way too many hours with a hot air gun and scraper. You've got to really love to varnish

for 3 years, which is a larger version of the baba 30. Lovely lovely boats. But not for the poor sailor.
Nope, shoestring sailors need a very low maintenance
boat. The Baba 30 is a lovely boat, but is not low maintenance.
