If you zoom out, you can see that he's sailed a rather tortuous route. He's going to have to really make use of the frontal wind patterns to gain some northing, or he'll end up in Mexico, it appears.

So this guy left on February 9th. I calculated he has so far averaged only 37 NM per day and he still isn't even in port yet.
