Hello Simpson and welcome to this forum. I've visited Seabaticals site and think its a good idea. I'm not sure about their success and approach. IMO, a "long" term charter
starts at 4 weeks. I'd personally like to find a few individuals who would charter Palarran for 4 to 6 weeks per year on a multi-year basis. The cost per week would be probably 60% less than a week by week with a regular charter company. But the problem is the buy in cost. I'd have to spend a week minimum before I'd pass over the helm
to someone. What do you have for a boat? Would it be easy to charter with a regular charter company? If not, I doubt many would charter it through Seabattical.
If your seriously looking for long term bareboat
charters you could post here, place an ad with cruising world, and create a website of your own to accomplish that goal.
