Saturn Inflatables

My apologies if this is not the appropriate place for this question. I am considering buying a Saturn SD365 inflatable. Although the Saturn line seems to compare favorably with Zodiacs in terms of specifications, at 1/3 of the price of the Zodiac I tend to be a tad skeptical.

Have any of you had first-hand experience with the Saturn? If so, I would love to hear your candid thoughts.

Thank you.

A 12 Ft. 30 HP max. dink (SD365) is pretty large for an inflatable air floor.
Saturn inflatables are made of PVC*.
"INFLATABLE BOATS", dinghies, rafts. 11' INFLATABLE BOAT only $899. Lowest Prices in USA!
* 1,100 denier “Dtex New Generation PVC” fabric with a polyester support. “Denier” is a unit of weight (the weight in grams of 9000 meters of a fiber or yarn) expressing the size or coarseness of a natural or synthetic fiber or yarn. The higher the denier, the thicker the fiber.

Some of the attributes to compare:
- Fabric Type (PVC vs Hypalon) and Thickness
- Tube Diameter
- Maximum Payload and Horsepower
- Standard Features & Available Options
- Cost

Compact and portable, today’s roll-up inflatables and folding RIBs are sensible dinghy options when weight and storage space are considerations.

GordMay: Thanks for the response. I am quite familiar with the specs on the Saturn, as well as the pros & cons of various floor designs. The difficulty has been to talk with Saturn owners for their candid thoughts on the boat.
