I got around to inventorying the spare
sails that came with my
boat the other day. I am hoping I can get some input here on how to
price the ones I won't take with me... Actually, I would also like to figure out what to call them.
Some of these numbers feel pretty off. I was trying to measure them by myself and it was a little windy and I didn't have a good process. They should be close- but no guarantees. How important is getting it dead right?
SAIL 1: 34, 35'6, 15'10 note: will probably keep as a spare since it is similar to the
jib I used
SAIL 2: 35, 35, 18 note: was used as the foresail when I sailed- will probably keep
SAIL 3: 22'10, 19'10, 8'4
SAIL 4: 24'6, 27'8, 10 note: this one was noticeably shaped different
SAIL 5: 30, 28'3, 13'6
SAIL 6: 37'6, 34'10, 19 note:
spinnaker with a 3'-ish tear
SAIL 7: 36, 35, 31'5 note:
spinnaker with minor fraying on the bottom
Other than the spinnakers they are all in great shape with very beefy looking attachment points. I took pictures- should I post them? Would it help?
