Sailing at Masuria, Polish Lake District

There is something for everyone to enjoy.
Cruising by day, taking in the scenery and wildlife or learning the art of sailing.

You can decide whether to moor in a marina or drop anchor on a lakeside bank in the evening - cooking, eating, and meeting other sailors- all around the open fire under the stars.

Apart from sailing you can hire a balloon or water ski or dive.
For these activities and in general you will find prices are much cheaper in Poland.

During the cruise you can visit the famous Masurian ports of Ruciane-Nida, Mikolajki, Gizycko, Sztynort and Wegorzewo.

You can sail across canals which link different lakes and cross locks.

Masuria is situated in the North East of Poland, it is made up of around 5,000 lakes and has the most beautiful post glacier landscapes in Europe.

It is famous for its unspoiled beauty and natural wildlife. You can sail in the heart of Masuria where you can visit places of historical interest from the 2nd World War.

You can also explore ancient forests or just swim in the clear waters and relax during the day. You might want to save some energy to enjoy the nightlife in the numerous marinas!

Fantastic scenery, thriving wildlife, clear waters, forests, open fires, great nightlife, beautiful towns and villages - all this and more can be enjoyed when you embark on a holiday aboard the Viking the Third - a 30 foot, skippered yacht.

Sailing on Masuria is a unique way of exploring this renowned natural area of beauty and experiencing Poland and its culture.
