I know what you mean. Racing an Andrews 53, I was onced smoked by a turboed SC 50 name "Hula Girl." Turns out the boat was owned by Paul Cayard.

Found out later that it had a T-keel, a carbon rudder, and it drew 12 feet.

Sheesh.
