Resource for good used cruising equipment

I have seen in past threads that now I can't find (lol) good resources for quality used cruising equipment. Everything from dinghy and motor, hookah eqpt., windscoops for hatches, paper charts, etc, etc, etc. I finally have placed an offer, although not finalized yet, on a 45' sloop that will serve as my new home for the next 5-15 years while I journey south into Central America and the Caribbean.

used dinghies...see dinghy doctor in san diego. they goooood. tell em i sent you. online and in person. brian and jo. they also have used engines.
most other stuff is findable at marine swapmeets, usually at a marina or chandlery near you., ebay or advertise for wanted equipment.

Thank you for the tips on dinghys and other stuff. However, no marinas or chandlery near me as I live in Oregon and not near the coast. lol. Was looking for online resources.

It really might be worth your time to take a trip to Minnies.

Or at least call them up and ask what they have. There might be other stuff in Seattle but a road trip through Southern California to hit up Minnies and the big marine swap meets could probably save you several grand.

There is a consignment store in Seattle called 2nd wind, I think. I've gotten most of the equipment for my boat off of eBay or Craig's list. SF Bay Area Craig's List was especially good. If you go to SF, The Blue Pelican in Alameda is also a good consignment store.
