Recommended Sail Broker in Victoroia, BC area

I am curious if there are any of those mythical creatures called 'good' brokers (sail) in the greater Victoria area. Somebody that knows his stuff and that you would completely trust if you used them as a buyers broker.

Hi Jd1, without mentioning what type of sailboat you are looking for it is hard to recommend the most knowledgeable broker for your specific needs.

Having said that, I am from Victoria and have lived there my whole life. I have bought and sold several sailboats through Custom Yachts. Rom & Greg, the owners, are very knowledgeable and trustworthy. I have never had any reason to doubt them. They are located in Sidney, a small town about 15 miles from Victoria where all of the brokers and most of the marinas are.

Windwisher - thanks for your post. My current boat was bought through Custom Yachts. Although I have nothing bad to say about Custom Yachts, I also can't say that they went beyond the call of duty on anything. I should however point out that this was my first transaction with a broker.
