A young lady was the proud owner of a miniature snauzer and, like many of those little dogs, it suffered from matting of the fur in its ears.


The young lady went to the chemist asking: “Can you recommend a good depilatory?”


The chemist reached to the shelf behind him and brought down a wee bottle with the words: “This one is highly recommended. You can use it on your legs diluted with water 3 to 1, or you can use it on your face diluted 5 to 1.


The young lady interrupts him: “Well, it's actually for my snauzer”


“Ah”, sez the chemist, “in that case dilute it 10 to 1 and don't ride a bicycle for ten days”
