This can't be true as all the experts on the cruisers forum said it would have sunk by now.

Composite boats sure are a tough lot.

Again, making the case that modern cruising sailboats are usually much tougher than the people who sail them.

But, how would you like to hit that in the middle of the night?

I was reading the whole debrief from the skipper.. seems to me he took the right decision abandon the cat.. no sails, a couple window smashed, bad weather for the next 3 days, no electronic and owner and his son on close to catatonic mood... I would do the same...
So.. that's how look 2.5 million on the water after 5 months out there.... I asking myself what kind of insurance carry it??
