Private Berths at Houses

I was wondering if any one knows of a website or resource where anyone with a unused berth at thier house in Queensland aus may listbto rent it out.
We drive around the waterfronts and see empty berths everywhere not being used and figure it would be a win / win the owner gets some $$$ and we save some $$$ instead of using marinas?

Thanks peter

Here in the Tampa Bay area you can often find private docs for rent on craigslist.

Re: Private Berths at Houses

While the empty dock may look attractive, there may be other issues. I learned this weekend that a classmate has a private dock in Marion, MA, where we would be welcome to tie up, were we to visit. Then I learned that there was only 4' of water at low tide. If we stop there, he said he'd come out to get us in his dinghy. But the dock will be empty, even though we are in town.
