Re: Please and Thank You

Or bogan Aussie "youse all".

There used to be an Aussie boxer called Jeff Fenech, who always used to say "I love youse all" to his fans. The joke was that he was going to star in the sequel to "The Silence of the Lambs." It was to be called "Shut up youse."

Coops.

Wouldn't that be "y'all"?

Hmmmm. Just thinking. Would that therefore make the possesive "y'all's"?

Thanks for the laughs everyone .

The other miss-spelling that always jars with me is rouge/rogue waves.

They're green dammit!

Only among big boat southern sailors as in: "ketch yawl schooner or later."

Get over it or get with it. I don't disagree with you however the fact that you are requesting that all conform to meet your need is a bit arrogant.

I always thought that was exactly what they mean...

Standing at the helm bellowing "Sheet! Sheet!" at the wench. Of course, that assumes that she'll turn the handle and bring the sail in a bit.........
