Placed 3rd at the recent regatta!

We placed 3rd on the last race of the Gerry Browne Regatta the other day in San Diego bay! I've crewed in maybe 8 races in this boat, and we finally did pretty good. We were down 17 seconds for 2nd place behind a Melges 24. I'm pretty happy with the results, and looking forward to the next race. Our boat's a newer Columbia 30 Sport Yacht.

I often enjoy watching the races when I am San Diego although I have never participated in one. It looks like a lot of fun.

Congrats on your finish!

Yeah, it's a lot of fun. That bay gets really crowded in the weekends though. I wish it blew harder here in SD, but the weather's incredibly nice so I can't really complain.

I could not agree more. Besides, if we did complain, who would really care?
