Pearson 30 Bimini

Who says Google knows all?

I can't seem to find anyone who sells Bimini Tops or Cowls for the Pearson 30. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Any canvas shop should be able to make you a new bimini.

If you want a hard bimini then you can build one yourself out of Azek sheets.

I have no hardware there now. I am very interested in the type that I saw on a vessel called the Whisper that saw forsale... Google it and you'll see what I am talking about. It doesn't seem like generic hardware will work it this case.

Great video, but that is so far beyond my still level. When I get to the Keys, I'll check around and see if I can get one made without paying a premium price.

Re: Pearson 30 Bimini

I was living in the San Francisco Bay area and went through a recommended professional. Cost me around $4k. That was 6 years ago and it is still in great condition. Just wash it off with a hose even bird ****.

The canvas guy ran his own business and recommended Sunbrella Captain Navy. Has stainless frame. I also got the stainless rail handholds that run on the outside of the dodger and the best uv resistant plastic windows. It all adds up.

Sure seemed pricey but I had the money then and didn't look for anyone else. He had to drive about 60 miles each way to the boat because the marina wasn't close to any marine businesses only close to my job and I was a liveaboard.

Good luck finding someone cheaper. I picked up a sewing machine. Still have to figure out how to use it. :-)
