Okay 'fess up!

What do the cruisers 'out there' yearn for? What is greener for you? Things that make you ache?

Really, I want to know. Even (especially) if it is nothing. WE want to know.

I ache for freedom, sunsets, lapping waves, sand between my toes, new places. And time to enjoy it and maybe get bored.

How about you? Is my grass ever greener?

There's so much to do all the time. Guess the only thing I minght avhe for would just be perfect weather on passages,,

OH, I almost forgot, a couple hundred bikini clad 21 y.o. young ladies cavorting on the beach in front of the boat..

As long as the Admiral doesn't catch me..

Re: Okay 'fess up!

I am yearing for a big bubble bath, a shower where the water is hot and strong and doesnt run out.

About a week of that and I think I would feel clean. Boats showers just don't cut the mustard compared to a proper one in a proper private house on shore.

Re: Okay 'fess up!

Most of the people on this forum are already living what I covet most!! I think we are very close to getting there and everyday not doing it pains me further.. But, I do know that when it finally does happen, it will be the best feeling EVER!!!

Sailing with dolphins shadowing you, finding a private beach/anchorage, hearing the water slap against the hull and rock you gently to sleep (hopefully), seeing the sunrise and sunset from the deck of your boat, having time to write my book(s), etc.....

A bigger engine. That works all the time.

Ahhh, the softer side of MarkJ.
I can appreciate the bath for sure. And it is a slight consolation to being landlocked. Thanks much.

Re: Okay 'fess up!

Always was and still will be an abundance of cold reliable refrigeration
And a reliable power supply to run it.

This will allow us to spend maximum time away from shore and supplies
