Non skid sand deckpaint removal

HI Wise Ones.
I am trying to remove the multiple coats of paint and sand that have been added to the deck of my nice old 40 ft Grainger cat over the 20 years of her life. Under the paint there are a few layers of epoxy/glass and timber. Any tips?

If you are good with tools a resinoid cup wheel on an angle grinder will make fast work and you won't be changing sandpaper every three minutes. Click image for larger version
