Night bareboat sailing in Canary

Hello everyone,

I'm planning a week bareboat next May out of Tenerife, I'll be more than happy to hear some previous experience from you regarding the weather, marinas, places to see and more. Is't allowed to sailing at night over there?

Thanks in advance to all,

Carlos

Pity the charter company won't allow sailing at night, the Islands are just far enough away to sail at night and drink during the day. Don't ask me how I know

A nice slow week would be a run south around Tenerife , Los gigantos, over to Gomera and do San Sebastián , vale gran Rey , Santiago , even a circumnavigation of Gomera is a nice sail.

You could do El hierro , but for a week charter maybe not unless you want to do nothing but sail

Mind the acceleration zones especially in the shadow of teide

Hi Dave,

Thanks, I can imagine how you know the best way to sail there night and day, it's a pity they do not allow, but anyway for sure I'll have a nice time, once more tks for the wind acceleration advice.
