I believe the new marina you are referring to in the West End would be Gibson Bight Marina. We checked it out a few months back when it first opened. It was pretty 'rustic' at that time, the facilities had not been completed yet.

There is supposed to be a couple of crocs in Gibson Bight. One guy would not dive to clean my friends boat due to the croc (alligator)
Sailing is 80% boredom and 20% sheer terror so FIRSTMATE then go sailing. Life is a journey, not a destination.

I have heard that the marina in Gibson Bight is owned by the Mayor, the same guy who is trying to kick the cruisers out of West End.
