Check first with your insurer on scope of coverage ,if any, for charter use of your boat. Maybe short term riders are available to extend coverage for charter use

Not where I am, if you do it legally and insured

OK. But you still have to own a registered charter business up first.

It is illegal in the EU to charter a non charter boat.

I think a good idea for a start-up to join and get exposure / build your own client base.

Without a Captains License and appropriate insurance, you are asking for trouble. If you want to charter out your boat, try www.boatbound.com They seem to have figured out a lot of the details and can offer you insurance too.

Re: New company charter your boat

I have my own LLC, Commercial Insurance, and charter it only through a single management company. I looked at BoatBound, but it was incompatible with my current agreement.

I also buy commercial Boat US, so that I get Tow Boat US service if my customers need it out on the water.
