New boat

Hi, my wife and I finally closed escrow on our 2nd sailboat, the first one was a Catalina 16.5 that I taught her the basics of sailing. A very quick study and actually a better driver than me.
Now we just bought a 1967 Cal 34 in San Diego that is in like new condition, all surveys commented on the general overall condition as exceptional.
We're very happy!!
This weekend with the help of a sailor from San Diego we are going to bring it home to Channel Islands harbor.
I will include pics as soon as we get settled.
We plan on going non stop unless the weather gets in the way.
Any last minute tips on the journey back?
