'Nellie' - 1903 Herreshoff Sloop

Had the opportunity recently to tour Nellie; a 1903 Herreshoff 35' LWL sloop.

SOUNDBOUNDER: Nellie

She just underwent a 7 year restoration. Some of you in the Stamford CT area may recognize her.

I visited the Herreshoff Museum in Bristol, RI this past summer. It was well worth the trip up from Newport. Since most of the boats are on the hard it's easy to see the joinery used in the construction of the wooden full keels. Incredible.

LOL! I have trouble uploading the photos from the laptop. Weak signal.
