Presumably the photos were taken at low tide as I recon at high tide only the mast sticks up out of the water. Best thing that could happen with that is someone tows it out and makes a home for fishes with it.

My guess is, someone on shore is tired of looking at it and posted it in the hopes of someone hauling it away.
