I discussed this topic once with my crew. They, along with EVERYONE in the anchorage considered it a thoroughly bad idea. Lol.

Sensible sunlight exposure prevents skin cancer; findings baffle old school doctors

I can certainly imagine that the tropic sun if more intense than here in Texas, is something to limit your time in

For pictures/photos you need to go to L & A - L&A Cruiser's Forum • View topic - Hotties on Boats (NWS) - not CF.

don't know if this will pass the "censors" but this clip link from L&A is a total riot (not for the faint of chest) http://www.bitoffun.com/video_vault/...r-crusher.html

Less than 1% of the population looks good naked. I visited a nude beach once and am still trying to forget what I saw.

Clothes make a person (99% look much better and I certainly would not want anyone sitting on my boat or furniture naked.

Hide all them faults and you will look much better.

Weather permitting, we sail nude, but we are naturists.

I know, that I am definitely more attractive clothed. Cutoffs are fine, in the raw doesn't seem practical for sailing. Though just sunbathing nude is nice,or moon bathing as the case may be. I also would be concerned about the sanitary issues.

I personally am cleaner in the nude, more prone to jump in for a cooling dip with our worring about clothes drying

"Sail Naked, it adds color to your cheeks!" The crew on S/V Ellen Louise is for naked sailing. It is a freeing experience to be in the ocean the way you came into the world. No possessions holding you down.

I go barefoot a lot and manage to stub my toes on all kinds of hard sailboat parts. I shudder to think about what parts might get whacked were they left unfettered.

We met a South African couple ,cruising for years ,he got his nuts caught in the winch! [nude of course} Its the funniest story and had everyone in stitches . We find that due to the intense heat we need to strip off below deck {currently in malaysia very hot} As for sailing nude ....too many things to get caught on ,save it for that deserted island.

That's so sad . Being ill at ease with nature at its purest. I've never been to a nude beach, but friends who have say they are very natural, warm friendly places to be. It's not a fashion competition, apparently!

I have an absolute ton of faults with my body - if it is being compared for perfections with a supermodel. However, it's way curvier than your average supermodel, and some people like that. They certainly used to in all the old paintings I see! I'm lucky in that my man has a fantastic body to look at - which is why we don't worry about clothes except for their insulation properties!
