But what are you considering for others. You feel they don't want to see you nude ( in the particular sailing circumstance were talking about ) , how do you know they care.

If you don't want to go nude, that's fine , that's your POV. But I see no reason to impose your moral view ( and its clearly a moral ) view on others. There is certainly unsuitable places to be nude, but swinging at anchor in a med bay is not one of them and is fairly common behaviour. Top less is extremely common , should everyone cover up when you approach , do all men put on their shirts when youre around.

By all means do as you feel comfortable to do , but don't enforce your morality on others.

Have you ever sat around a pool with dozens of wrinkly nude old Germans ( its always Germans ) is it pretty , no , but is the slightest bit of harm being done, absolutely not.

When we first moved into our mooring field I discovered our neighbors were naked often. Just going about their business, climbing masts and so on. That was January and it seemed rather funny. Then July, August, September rolled around and clothes were just too much! My neighbors are lucky to get a pareo during the day and all bets are off after dark!

We met lots of Europeans while in the Caribbean, and one of their sayings was a reference to MORALLY CONSTIPATED AMERICANS. Gosh, I wonder how that came about?????. Other than Islamic countrys we Americans seem to be more hung up about nudity than most other places in the world. Maybe it is because we were founded by the PURITANS, and havent gotten over it yet? Oh well!!!___Grant.

The entire concept of nudity being commonplace in the Med boating community and on Med. beaches is as difficult for Americans to understand, as it is for Europeans to understand how commonplace guns are here in America.

It is the way it is..... There's no need to be judgemental. Nudity or firearms can provide great stress relief..... Depending on which side of the pond.

Not the same really, Europeans still own a lot of guns 1 in 3 on average and we have no real issue with nudity. So we get both as a stress relief. Me I've currently 4 guns but really me nude , no thanks.

Mine you my target practice is doing nothing for my stress relief at the moment , going through a bad patch
