47 days, Simonstown South Africa to Panama. 6700 miles, solo. mar/apr 2006

Great sailing!!! Was wishing that somehow North America would have drifted 2 or 3 thousand miles further west so I could have kept on sailing for another couple of weeks.

Followed by 36 days & 5016 miles Balboa to Hilo, Hawaii - also solo.

31 days Manzanillo Mexico to Hiva Oa Marquesas. Do days at sea count when you are on an aircraft carrier. I would think that is more like a floating island. OTOH I think we have two different classes one on ships the other on boats and a third class for subs.

72 days Panama to Isles Gambier. 36 RSA to Brazil.

Much impressed by haulback's direct run to Panama - we would have done the same if we had known how bad Brazil was.
