I thought I would try and make a poll to see what the members are sailing and how many are actively cruising (Away from their home port more than three Months) and how many are sailing local.

Left Ca in 2006 and still heading west. Not very direct though.

That's funny: I intend to be away from home port for 1.5 month and go to 2 other countries but for this poll, it's still sailing local.

i sail a formosa 41.
measured for canal , she is just under 50 ft. with davits these measure our to 51 ft. i pay slip rent for a 40.9 ft ketch, iff i decide to use a marina.

i obtain my mail over the fone from a friend who watches my other boat for me, and i am outta sd forever--home is truly where my boat is.

i am beyond local, and formosas have too much character to stick em in with other production monohulls, as each formos ais quite different from the others.

btw--there are 4 formosa 41s in this bay currently..lol all actively cruising.
