Looking for someone who has taken the off shore route going north. looking for info on dates and such.

There has been quite a few discussions on this topic. If you could search the archives a bit using the search engine after my signature you might come across a few threads. Basically my take on it (I haven't done it) is the best way is to come across to Hawaii and then head north. I've done the Hawaii to Washington sail but not the Mexico to Hawaii portion.
You'll find other opinions I'm certain. Try search titles San Francisco to Washington or California to Washington or something to that effect.
