SWMBO has approved my capital allocation request for the hardback set of O'Brians books. woohooo

As an aside O'Brian is an unusual Anglicisation of Ó Briain. The O'Brien form is the most common , with O'Bryan making up the rear.

Congrats! I hope you enjoy them as much as I am enjoying my paperback ones.

Much of the framed art in my boat is limited edition prints of the original paintings for the cover art for the series, by Geoff Hunt. The cover art for "The Mauritius Command" hangs over the galley dinette. One of my favorite pieces. All of his art is amazing.

One thing that does irritate me about O'Brian is the abruptness with which his books end.
