mast track

Hi new to forum.what i would like to know is,i spray silicon on my mast track for easy up haul.Is that ok or should i use something else.

If you dont have Torlon balls in the sail cars , use it, no problem, now if you have the kind of sail cars with ball bearings inside, forget it, oil, wax, silicon sprays etc destroy the balls in short order..... Regards....
