marine weather forecast?

Does anyone know of a website that gives a good marine weather forecast? My husband is currently bringing a boat back from Trinidad to Annapolis, and is off the coast of northern Florida. He subscribes to a weather service from a guy named Herb in Canada, and he is forecasting gale force winds of Hatteras on Monday. I would like to be able to confirm and add more detail - apparently their reception was somewhat garbled.

go to PassageWeather - Sailing Weather - Marine Weather Forecasts for Sailors and Adventurers and you can find what you are looking for. current forecast for Monday shows wind of 20-25 kts from the southwest which should move your husband along nicely as that is a following wind. Perhaps 25-30 kts Tuesday but still should be behind him and no problem for a well found boat.

Herb has an excellent--among the best--reputation. If Herb says gale off of Hatteras then your husband would be well advised to duck into Beaufort Inlet (NC) or before.

I find windguru a helpful source, and many have recommended:

but I very strongly agree with starfish62. Everything I've heard about Herb (pardon the tongue twister), is that he knows his stuff.

Also NOAA is good up to 200 miles out. All US waters are available.

Ocean Prediction Center

Yup, looks like they are in for a moderate blow. Either duck in or stay well off, since the wind will be east and there is nothing welcoming in that area until the Chesapeake.
