Man found dead on sailboat, Daytona Beach police investigating

Boom strike? Not fun whatever it was....

DAYTONA BEACH --
Daytona Beach Police are investigating how a man found dead on a boat died.
Police say the man was spotted by a passing boat lying over the railing on a 27 foot sailboat, which was anchored near the Bethune Point boat dock.
The man had injuries to the back of his head and police said it appeared something from the boat hit him in the head.
There was also damage to the boat.
Right now, it's being treated as an accident.

Strong winds, rain... but no hurricane that I saw. 50mph gusts at most I would say. Not a day I would want to be out sailing, but not so bad.
