Lucky Duck with questions.

First how do I change my user name?
Importantly; gouge, thoughts on soon to take transit.
I'm leaving Destin around 2 June for Ft Myers to position for transit thru the Lake Okeechobee canal for short stay in Stuart FL. From Stuart a hired transfer CAPT. will take the Lucky Duck to Charleston SC. We plan to transit (given the wind) direct to Ft Myers. I have a seasoned sailor/friend and my wife onboard provisioned with safety gear, food/water and more for a 4-5 transit. Any recommendations/thoughts/ideas would be appreciated. Sailing a 1992 Beneteau Oceanisis 370, 29 hp Volvo Penta, 4'3" draw and 47 1/2 cut mast.

Re: Lucky Duck with questions.

Hello, Dan,

You can't change your user name, but an Administrator can change it for you. You will need to be prepared to tell them what you want to change it to.

How you do it, is to go to the bottom of the page, and click on "Contact Us". A writing box will appear and you can enter what you want. It will then go into a queue, and someone will get to it, probably in one day.

Re: Lucky Duck with questions.

Dan, that's not the "Contact Us" button at the left end of the dark blue stripe near the very bottom of this page. You're still in the thread. Go to the bottom.

What you need to do is use the Contact Us button, and when you get the writing window, ask them to change the username from Dan Fink to whatever it is that you now want to be called. That is how you get the administrator.
