Looking for a Reliable Surveyor in St Marteen

Hello -

We're buying a boat!!

I notice on the forum a lot of folks saying that a survey is unnecessary or even a sham. Well... we are relatively novice sailors. We have owned boats in the past and have been burned by brokers. We don't have the experience to look at the boat and identify serious problems upfront.

If the forum could provide a recommendation for someone who wouldn't be an enormous waste of money -- perhaps even provide a little peace of mind -- that would be much appreciated.
