Looking for a Boat

Hey hop this is the best place for my question. I'm looking to purchase a boat in the range of 32 to 40+ feet to be a Full time live aboard. I want to sail British Columbia to gain experience then do the canadian coast and some day to the carribbean. I want a boat that is blue water capable to someday sail the world if experience ever permits.

2 specific boats I currently am looking at are a 36 foot hunter with many electronic upgrades and a 45 foot carrius ketch needing upgrades. Both are 30 000. Would either of these be suitable blue water vessels.

If not what are some names I should be looking at. Should be easily sailed by 2 people 1 if necessary.
