Thanks VB. We bought it like that from the previous owner, so no credit to us at all, apart from finding it. He was a bit of a cabinet maker and it would seem that the stainless galley was custom made to his requirements. i hate to think how much that would cost, but maybe he had a mate who could do it. Anyway, it sure is a classy looking interior on a production trailer sailer, probably vast overcapitalisation really, but we are content to reap the rewards of someone else's endeavours.

The 'UMIAK' this is my first vessel a 40' ketch custom hull kit from John Brandlmayer out of burnaby Bc, it took 9 years to build from 1971-1980 when it was launched.

Could you tell me what design that is please? Looks like one that i looked at back in 1987 in Sydney. But could be totally wrong, as usual.

it is a Tasman 20, designed as a trailer-sailer by Allen Wright, but my one has a fixed keel

That is why then. The one i looked at was a 28' designed by him. Could not remember his name at the time of the last post.Many thanks, good looking boat.
