Re: Let's see your pride and joy(sailboat)

Our...

MacGregor 26 Classic that has introduced us to sailing a couple years ago and taken us from Canada above to ....

...Utah, Idaho and Colorado and to....

...Florida where she took us down the west coast, over to the Keys and up north to just below Miami. We will probably have her until we can no longer sail.

Then the new girl for us...

...our Endeavour 37 that so far has taken us about 70 miles to the boat yard were we have been working on her. Even though the time on the water was short we have now lived on her for almost 4 months and love her,

Sum

Re: Let's see your pride and joy(sailboat)

As a postscript..
There are some pretty ugly tubs in our boat yard... however they all belong to someone who loves them and lavishes much care and attention on them. In other words every boat is beautiful to their owner... So whilst I think Tomahawk is beautiful, she is no more beautiful than any other boat.

And that is how it should be...

Feel free to make fun of the sail but this is our first year "sailing" and we did it on a very tight budget.

At least you're on the water having fun!

Sail On!

A 14-foot mini-cruiser is minimalist. A 19ft is comfortable, and anything much larger than a 25 borders on ostentatious.

OK... here's ours. Love that shallow draft... who needs a dinghy?! Just swim to shore!
