Kiwigrip, can it be repainted?

Hi,

I have some areas on my deck which I like to be less slippery.
The deck is painted with two component PU paint.

I heard good things on Kiwigrip.

Want to apply in stripes rather than full surface areas.

Few questions, if I ever want to repaint the deck, do I need to remove the Kiwigrip than completely?
Can it be sanded off?

How do I need to prep for Kiwigrip?

Will the Kiwigrip adhere well in 35mm wide strips?

Thanks for your input.

I applied Kiwi last year, tough as nails, great grip and an unbelievable dirt magnet. Extremely difficult to keep clean. I used a foam roller so the texture was not very rough but it still traps every spec of dirt and stains easily.
